„Burnout“ und „Generation“ erscheinen zeitgleich bei Grönland Records als Doppel-EP auf Vinyl. Die neue EP ist als direkte Weiterführung der Debüt-EP und deren vornehmlich düsteren Grundstimmung zu verstehen. Auf inhaltlicher Ebene gehen „Burnout“ und „Generation“ sowieso Hand in Hand, kreist Leila lyrisch doch auf beiden Projekten um die großen Themen, die ihre Altersgruppe im Jetzt beschäftigen. Es geht um Einflusslosigkeit und Lethargie, um schnelles Erwachsenwerden und zähes inneres Ausbrennen, um Leistungs-, Entscheidungs- und Performance-Druck, um die verzweifelte Suche nach dem eigenen Platz in einer wirren Welt.
